Brazilian Psychic Predicts That Germany Will Be Victors In 2014 World Cup
Millions of Brazilians are going to be extremely disappointed about the World Cup that takes place in Brazil next July if psychic Marcia Fernandes’ predictions are correct. She has predicted that Germany will beat Brazil in the final match.
She made an appearance at Mystic Fair in Sao Paulo, where over 40,000 people attended. A large number of attendees were looking forward to her World Cup predictions at the festival and she answered their question by saying, “Germany is going to prevail.”
Serena Salgado, a well-known Brazilian astrologist, was also there and simply said that Brazil had a good chance of winning the tournament, but she did not say one way or another who she believes will win.
“I think that Brazil can conquer the Cup… this is a possibility,” said Salgado. She also said that the Brazilian team was more than likely going to play against typical rivals, such as Argentina, Italy, or Germany.
This is the first time since 1950 that Brazil is hosting the World Cup and they are really hoping to win this match, which would also make it their sixth World Cup win.
If Germany wins the final in Brazil, then that would average their defeat to Spain back in 2010, when the World Cup was held in South Africa.
Even though the predictions for the World Cup were the highlight of the Mystic Fair this year, which was a two-day event, it wasn’t the whole reason attendees showed up. The fair had a large number of female visitors who were there to take advantage of free numerology, reiki, and tarot reading classes.
Fernandes is a medium who hosts a very popular radio show in Brazil and she picked the fair audience back up after being let down by the World Cup predictions by saying, “2014 will be a very good year for business, especially April and May, a year of love, a year of marriage.” This was good news to the Brazilians because 2013 was less than favorable for them.
Psychic Marcia Pugliesi stated her piece, which was that 2014 “will be ruled by the number 7, which evokes positive energy… a year to strengthen one’s faith.”
Claudiney Prieto is the Mystic Fair organizer, which is now in it’s fourth edition, labeled the event as, “the biggest esoteric fair on the planet.” There are over 400 exhibitors who attend the fair, some of them from Spain, Peru, and Italy, but the majority of them from Brazil.
Although 64 percent of Brazilians are Catholic and 22.2 percent of them (out of a country of about 200 million + population) are evangelical Christians, the country has a deep fascination with anything in the spiritual realm and the fair really speaks to them.
“Mystic Fair is the celebration of the plurality of Brazilian spirituality, of what makes us different and one of the most spiritual people on earth,” said Prieto.
“All forms of spirituality coverage here, from Afro-Brazilian religions such as Umbanda and Candomble, to Hare Krishna, Buddhism, Shamanism, and witchcraft,” he continued. “People are eager to get accurate and reliable information on these different aspects of spirituality.”
“I love to feel and absorb all the positive energies,” said a 66-year-old attendee named Teresina Paolo. “I am a big fan of esoterism and of Marcia Fernandes. I come every year.”
33-year-old attendee Karina Rufino said, “I came looking for new products, new books on esoterism. I am a believer. It has helped transform my life for the better.”
Efigenia Maria Vergueiro de Deus is a psychic who had a booth at the fair offering oracles for $13 said; “It’s my first time at the fair and a great opportunity to connect with so many people.” Her specialty is offering an extensive array of esoteric products linked to the “sacred feminine”.
Among all the booths at the fair there were also entertainment for the guests, in the form of Gypsy belly dancers. There were also a large number of experts in the spiritual field teaching attendees about the many benefits of crystals, reiki, energy cleaning, and numerology.
Prieto states that the big draw on Saturday was Monica Buonfiglio who is a very popular Brazilian author on all things esoteric.
A professor of Hatha Yoga named Claudio Duarte stated that his goal in attending the fair was “to bring awareness of the benefits of yoga for emotional, psychological and physical health.”
“There is a hunger for spiritual health and we are responding to that,” said Duarte.
According to Prieto, the fair, held every year in both Sao Paulo and Rio, is expected to bring in revenue of over $450,000.
